ABOUT PEAK 3
Peak 3 was founded in August 2022. After years of working and gaining experience rehabbing athletes and active people in Atlanta and Baltimore, it was time to bring high level sports rehab for athletes back home to Greenville.
Peak 3 is different from your typical Physical Therapy clinic. We’ve partnered with the Optimization Training Lab to provide patients with a space designed for athletes. A dedicated space for evaluations and hands on treatment. A full weight room to gain strength and power and 25 yards of turf where you can really get comfortable returning to your sport with confidence.
Our mission is to help you recover from injury, improve your health, and stay ready for what you love. At Peak 3 Sports Physical Therapy, we believe everyone is an athlete. You receive 1 on 1 personalized physical therapy and performance care that blends hands on treatment, comprehensive movement analysis, and progressive loading. We are committed to continuous improvement through movement, community, and clinical excellence.

MEET YOUR PT
Josh was born and raised in Greenville, SC where he attended Eastside High School and went on to get his B.S in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina in 2014. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating with his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2018.

Josh has extensive experience working in sports and orthopedic settings across the country, including in Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Greenville, and Baltimore, where he learned alongside amazing orthopedic teams treating athletes of every level.
At Peak 3, he brings this experience along with advanced certifications in dry needling, spinal manipulation, weight-lifting, and concussions to help athletes of all levels return to what they love. Whether you're recovering from an injury or looking to boost your performance, Josh is dedicated to helping those in Greenville achieve their goals.

Your rehab plan is unique to your situation, your injury, and your goals. We use the best strategies and latest sports science technology to reduce the risk of further injury or re-injury. We use our expertise to create a comprehensive plan that will help you get healthy and stay healthy.

PREPARATION
You need to properly prepare your body to handle the stress of whatever sport or activity you love to do. We understand the unique training principles your sport requires and we utilize our knowledge to properly prepare you for all of your sports demands. We don’t believe in telling you “no”, but we do believe in making sure you are ready.

PERFORMANCE
You want to reach your peak athletic performance. Our number one goal is to help you get there and stay there. We aim to decrease your pain and optimize your movement, so you can return to your sport at a higher level than before. Your best ability to perform is your availability to do so. Staying healthy will boost your performance.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
In Your First Session
STEP 1: EVALUATE
One on one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. We review your history, test movement, strength, and mobility, and observe sport-specific tasks. The goal is clear: find the root cause of your pain or limitation.
STEP 2: EDUCATE
You’ll get an explanation of what is going on, why it happened, and how long recovery may take. We outline what to do, what to modify, and how to keep training safely
STEP 3: COLLABORATE
We set goals together and choose the best path for you: Physical Therapy, Performance Training, Virtual Rehab and Coaching, or an integrated plan. We confirm frequency, home actions, and how we will measure progress.
STEP 4: IMPLEMENT
Treatment begins on day one. Expect targeted exercise with smart loading strategies, mobility work, and manual therapy. Dry needling is used when appropriate. We consistently test, treat, and re-test. Then adjust the plan so you keep progressing.
